Autumn Shift: The Sun is Setting on Summer and Autumn is in the Air

The Sun is Setting on Summer and Autumn is in the Air.  As the season shifts so will our Farmers Market.  If you are looking for some fresh blooms to brighten up your porch, what to plant where, get rid of invasive plants, or even autumn clean up there’s still plenty of time to get your green thumb working.

Bonus:  the right preparations now will save you time and exergy next spring!

Whether you want to do it yourself or have someone do it for you, in the coming weeks our special guests will be here with tips, tricks and great ideas from experienced professionals.

A delicious new season has arrived so mark your calendar for the next 4 Markets as we welcome (along with our usual 30+ vendors) local garden experts  —happening every Friday September 9 - 30th (3-7pm)  on the grounds of the Three Village Historical Society:  93 North Country Road, Setauket

This week we kick off our Garden Professional guest with:

    • Forester, John Wernet of the DEC serving Long Island—stop by and ask John, questions that you might have about a specific issue on your property.  Or bring the kiddos and find out what a forester does.

We still have a couple of spaces available for gardeners or landscape professionals, so if you are interested, or know of someone who you think could be an interesting vendor have them contact Linda at either linda@chocologyunlimited or message 631.901.7151 for more information.

NEW AUTUMN HOURS!  The days are getting shorter; mark your calendar for October 7th which is the date we will be changing our Market hours so you don’t have to shop in the dark and we can all be packed up before the sun sets.  As of October 7, the NEW Market hours will from 2 - 6pm.

We have so many wonderful things planned and happening for this fall. Follow along on our Facebook or Instagram pages for our most current updates.

See you Friday and happy gardening!
